Bailey is approximately 4 years old and is neutered and current on the required vaccinations, Bordetella, heart worm tested (negative) and micro chipped. He is a sweet little guy but does like to make the first move when interacting with new people and seems to be more comfortable with adults than small children. For that reason, we believe he will do best in an all adult home or one where the children are older. We would also like him to go to a home where someone is home part of the day. Bailey is house trained but was not neutered when we first rescued him so has a tendency to lift his leg and mark on furniture which is a territorial trait in most male dogs but can be corrected with proper training. He likes to be held and would probably make a good lapdog. He is laid back and he gets along well with other dogs but if he does go to home where there is another dog, we want it to be with one where the current dog is friendly and accepting of new dogs in the household. Bailey's breed do not shed but does require regular brushing and occasional grooming to keep his hair nice and neat and tangle-free. Our dogs are not available for out of state adoptions for we conduct home visits as part of the adoption process. Bailey's adoption fee is $250 and is tax deductible.
