I'm Betty, a two year old Beagle mix. I love people; especially ones who give me massages, and let me snooze on the couch. I have a favorite spot, right behind my ears, that I like to get rubbed. When that happens, I am in heaven, because it feels so good! I really love children. Even if they squeeze me really tight or jump towards me from nowhere. I just have no mean bone inside me and enjoy every second of them. I like to be outside as much as I like to be inside. Chasing squirrels is my most favorite hobby. That's the beagle in me. At times I forget myself and am not sure what I would do without being on the leash or in a fenced yard. That's how me and my sister ended up in the shelter. We were just roaming around and nobody was looking for us :-( I'm so ready to find my forever family now who cuddles with me and who I can just love. Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping. We need foster homes - pounds are overflowing with puppies and adult dogs that are at-risk and need help. We can only rescue as many as we have foster home commitments.
