About Holden

Say Hello to Holden! He is approximately 4 mths old, and weighs about 18 or so pounds and we think will be a medium to a smaller large dog as an adult. Mom looks like a retriever mix of some sort. His mom was found as a stray in Tucson, pregnant. We were contacted, and now they are all with our rescue. Holden is a shy puppy, and is going to need some extra help to come out of his shell. So we are looking for a family that is willing to work with him. He loves being outside, and running around the yard and playing. He seems most at home outside. He gets along well with other adult dogs, has been around older kids. While he is shy and sometimes wants to hide, we can see he wants to trust so bad! He is using a doggy door, and is on his way to learning proper potty. We can't wait to find a family for him, and watch him flourish and become the dog we know is inside him. He just needs lots of love, patience and kindness. Is Holden the puppy you've been waiting for? As part of your adoption contract, you will be required to transport the puppy to complete his/her shots, as well as for their spay/neuter at a later date. While puppies are adorable and cute, they are a lot of work. They take time, dedication, and above all, commitment. They will require training (we give you 4 training sessions with us). The rescue strives to give you a puppy that has a good foundation for you to build upon. We are a FORCE FREE rescue. The adoption contract you will be signing specifically states that you agree to NEVER use any aversive methods nor tools like a shock, prong or choke collar. We are never sure about breed because we do not do DNA (we make our best guess), so if that is important to you, these puppies may not be the right choice for you. Please, consider everything when making a decision to adopt a puppy. As part of your adoption package, each dog/puppy will be fully vaccinated (Da2PP, Rabies), have a microchip, and be spayed/neutered. You will need to come back to us to complete shots, spay or neuter, hw test. You will receive 6 mths of HW preventative. You will receive a free bag of premium dog food.
