About Rue

Meet Rue! A stunningly handsome Majestic Treehound aka Majestic Bloodhound! At 4 years old, and 90 pounds, Rue is a big, goofy love bug. Rue is house trained, crate trained and walks great on leash. He loves to go for long walks and hikes and does great in the car. Rue loves to play with dogs 60 pounds and up. Due to his size, he could be a little rough on a small dog. Rue is just fine with cats. A home without small children is recommended. Rue doesn't know his size, so for safety reasons we are saying age 12 and up. Rue meets all people with a big happy hellllooo or ahroooo! He knows not to jump up when greeting. Rue is a BIG fan of food. He doesn't have any resource guarding but will have no problem sneaking a little snack from food left on the counter or from another dogs bowl. Rue is a strong willed, vocal and assertive boy. He has a big, happy personality that will capture your heart. He will thrive in a hound experienced home. Rue has recently completed treatment for Heart worm and is a happy boy ready for his forever family.
