Meet Mustang Sally! We found her in a local shelter after she was rescued from a breading/hoarder situation. With all the neglect she may have suffered, she sure doesn't show it. Not sure exactly what breed she is, the shelter listed her as a Shih Tzu mix probably because of her cute little under bite. Sally has a non shedding coat of soft tans & grays. She has a curled tail and a sweet little disposition. We gave Sally a good teeth cleaning, spay, updated her shots and had to have her right eye removed but it doesn't slow her down, she loves her walks and does well on a leash. She's a little skiddish but that's to be expected with all the newness she's experiencing. Sally must have been a great mama to the many litters of puppies she has had because she is so calm. When Sally wants to be held she stands up on her hind legs and makes the cutes little praying motion with her front paws How can you not lift her up and hold her tight. She gets along well with her other dogs, but would also do fine as an only dog. Her personality is beginning to emerge. She shows joy when she see's you come home after being out and excitement at meal times by running around the kitchen island when she hears the food bowls being brought out. She's not a barker and has only barked when someone enters the home. She's does her business outside and is learning to use the dog door.
