About Sasha

Adoption Fee: $100
Snowshoe / Siamese
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

Meet Sasha! Sasha is with one of our fosters in southwestern Florida. She is a beautiful blue point girl with white feet, and is about 6 years old. She looks especially cute in these great photos taken by her foster! Sasha is sweet and friendly and loves to hang out with her humans. Like all siamese she does love attention and loves to return affection! She loves to sleep at the end of the bed, or next to her humans, but hasn't yet been a 'lap cat' at her foster home (although this has been known to change with cats as they get to know their families better). She would suit a home that will respect her independent spirit and not be upset that she likes to be near you but not necessarily sitting on top of you all the time. She was found wandering the Florida streets as a stray. Her chip was traced to a young owner who had not been taking good care of her, had been keeping her out in his yard, and he agreed to surrender her to us for rehoming. She is FIV/Felv negative and is spayed, chipped and vaccinated. She can travel within Florida to her forever home with volunteer networks (adopter may need to pay for a crate for him to travel in). She can travel out of state for the cost of an interstate health certificate ($50-$85) and the price of a large crate ($40 or so, yours to keep) and a few supplies for the journey. We would prefer to find her a local adopter, because that would free up her foster spot to save another cat or mom and babies more quickly - and because we don't transport our rescue meezers and snowshoes out of state into Florida due to the number of homeless cats and kittens already there. But she absolutely can travel if a loving local home cannot be found. A minimum donation is required as part of each adoption, which is a contribution towards routine veterinary costs (including spay/neuter surgery, microchip, flea/worm meds), non-routine vet costs (antibiotics), food, litter and other care costs while the cats and kittens are with us. Please do not ask us to reduce the requested donation. To request an application or ask any questions, please send an email to [email protected]. and provide the state in which you reside.
