About LUKE & ALLIE

Adoption Fee: $300
Snowshoe / Siamese
Age: Young Kitten
Sex: Female

Bonded brother and sister siamese mixes Allie and Luke SkyWalker are looking for a home together. We are currently only inviting applications for them as a bonded pair. Allie is the female. She is a beautiful snowshoe girl with the most adorable facial expressions! Luke is the male. He is a gorgeous white fluffy boy. He has medium length soft fur like an angora kitty and beautiful blue eyes. At first glance, Luke looks all white. We recently saw the beginnings of a dilute flame point colorpoint coat starting to come in. His paws, tail tip and nose have very subtle apricot shading. But it's only visible up close and in good lighting. And some small gray patches have also appeared on the back of his head and back. Both siblings are up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. Tested FIV/Felv negative. They are about 6 months old as of December 26. They were abandoned as orphans in a paper bag at the Alamo. That is how Allie got her name (otherwise she would have been called Leia, of course). They were tiny (under half a pound) with their eyes still closed. They had to be bottle fed round the clock. They are now healthy and happy babies! Luke is more than twice the size of his sister Allie. By August 11, Luke was 5.8 pounds - huge for his age! - and little Allie waa tiny at only 2.6 pounds. She has now caught up but will always be more petite than her brother. As bottle fed kittens, they are especially loving and cuddly. Adoption fee (a donation towards veterinary care and food, etc) applies of $300 for the pair. Luke and Allie are in New Braunfels, Texas but can travel to a new home most places in the US for the price of a travel crate/carrier (yours to keep) and a veterinarian's interstate health certificate. Total cost for the transport package is roughly $160 per cat/kitten (assuming no price changes; interstate health certificate accounts for about $100 of this amount and the rest is the travel crate and travel supplies). Cats going to the same home can share a lot of the supplies, and kittens under a certain size at the date of transport can share a crate. Sometimes (not always) if our favourite veterinarian is doing the certificates, he will put two kittens traveling to the same home on the same heath certificate, meaning it only needs to be paid for once and not twice. So Luke and Allie going together would cost their combined adoption fees ($300 total) plus their transport package which (assuming they are still small enough to share a crate by then) would be $160 plus potentially the cost of the second health certificate i.e. $100. Please note that we tend to prioritise instate adoptions and travel to the northeast and Midwest. We don't transport to Florida or California due to the numbers of homeless Siamese already in those states. Please email us at [email protected] or send us a PM with an email address to request an application. None of our cats or kittens are tested with dogs or small children.
