About Jingles

Miniature Pinscher
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

7 yr old red boy, currently 14-15lbs , docked but not cropped, up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, and on heartworm prevention. Jingles was rescued from a local shelter after his former owner passed away. He is very sweet but takes a while to warm up, having lived a sheltered life with one owner. He is house-trained to a doggie door with an outdoor, full enclosure and is crate-trained. He is doing well on a schedule in rescue (we do not have a doggie door) but is not fond of the leash. This lovable roly-poly needs to watch his manly waistline, avoid people food and shed about 3-4 lbs. But it has given him a butter-soft, luxurious coat that you can't stop petting, and he's equally happy to have you do it! Jingles also needs to avoid stuffed squeaky toys for, although he loves them madly, he makes it his mission to destroy them, pulling out any stuffing, material and squeaker, and is at risk of swallowing pieces. A durable kong one size larger would be ideal! Jingles came in with Jinger from the same household and they are a bonded pair, they are very close and never far from each other. He is the more adventurous. And while Jinger is snuggling as close to your neck as she can get, Jingles is standing guard on your lap wanting his back scratched! He is a door announcer and will sound the alarm over strangers. They happily burrow together all night. These two are the nicest minpins we've ever enjoyed. If you have room for them in your heart and home, complete an application at minpinrescue.org and contact us right away!
