About Arlo

Meet Arlo! Arlo is a 4 year old neutered male Purebred Golden Retriever. Located in Bozeman, Montana. He is a goofball if ever there was one. Arlo is a large golden with loads of personality. He is loving and loyal; expect a companion who is content to follow you around all day. Some of his favorite things are cuddles on the couch, tug of war any time of day, snagging treats out of the air, and falling asleep in the middle of the kitchen floor. Arlo is typical of his breed in that he is goofy, fun loving, and wants to stay close to his people. He is great with all people, especially those big enough for tug of war or fetch. Arlo has been a regular at Know Thy Dog Pack Therapy for several months. He has done well (with a lot of management and feedback) with other savvy dogs in a controlled environment. But he will always be socially awkward and needs a human who will honor this part of him. No dog parks. No off-leash hikes. No approaching other dogs on leash. He will squabble if he feels threatened or confused. He can be leash reactive. He would likely do well living with another dog after a meet and greet. Arlo is available for adoption to the best fit home. Owner will converse with interested adopters and choose who is the best placement. Potential adopters should have either a privacy fenced yard, or a rural acreage property. Highest priority is best fit home.
