About Sarge

We found this dog a few years ago on one of the back roads tied to a tree. We posted him on all the local pages and never got a response so we decided to keep him because he was so attached to just me. He liked my wife and kids and was good without other dogs but loved me. I got him fixed and he seemed to calm down some then since he was so smart we got him additional training. There was a time I was looking at making him my service dog but he had a few quirks that he couldn't work out, like want to go after small animals such as cats. Not to eat them but just to play. So when we moved to our farm he loved to spend all his time outdoors. He LOVES the water. We set a water hose up and he will play for hours. We haven't been able to take him to the beach since he's gotten really big and our van no longer works. He's my little buddy but lately he's been attacking my two smaller older dogs and now he's going after the horse and donkey. It hurts me to put him up for adoption but he deserves a family or someone who can take more time then I can. I'm a disabled veteran and can't get out there like I used to. He use to go on runs with me before my body stopped allowing me too. He would make a great dog for someone with one dog or no dogs and was able to be more active with him. He could also be trained to be a hunting dog especially duck hunting, since he is a great site dog and water just runs off his back.
