About Maverick, Tres Amigo

Well hello! My name is Maverick, and I'm a confident, friendly, energetic, and athletic black DSH/ Bombay mix fella with a shiny patent-leather coat and copper penny eyes who was born in June 2019. The only way you can distinguish me from my twin brother Mad Max is that I have a white 'bikini' on my tummy. Along with my brothers Mad Max and Braveheart, my litter has been christened the 'Tres Amigos.' Bombay mixes are renowned for being 'Velcro' cats because they love spending time with their humans. I'm very much of a snuggler and lap kitten who loves to be picked up, held, and cuddled as well as to sleep with my foster meowmy. Bombay mixes are also very dog-like and have been known happily to play fetch as well as walk on a leash. I get along great with the other cats in my foster home, but I'm reserving my opinion on the small resident dogs. I don't play with them yet, but I'm not afraid of them and certainly don't run from them. My favorite activity is playing with my brothers as well as all the balls with bells, catnip mice, and wand toys around the house. My foster meowmy says that we Tres Amigos really are a joy to watch as we play. Recently, I heard her say, 'Watching them is better than television.' I love to run full speed through the house; in fact, I have two speeds: fast and asleep. Although we're available separately, I think it'd be the cat's meow if the Tres Amigos could be adopted together. Two or three is better than one, and we could keep each other company when you're at work or on vacation. No matter what, it would be a shame for a kitten my age not to have another feline playmate in my new home with whom to roughhouse, groom, cuddle, and comfort me. At any rate, don't waste time in meeting me (and Mad Max as well as Braveheart, for that matter!). It won't be long before a well socialized, handsome kitten like me will be adopted into his forever home. Please don't be superstitious of black cats! You know, Groucho Marx once said, 'A black cat crossing your path signifies that the animal is going somewhere.'
