Meet COCO, a LOVELY, 1-year-old, 45lb Chocolate lab mix looking for a SPECIAL foster or forever family. Even though she had a rough start, Coco still BELIEVES IN LOVE. COCO'S foster mom shares the following: 'this baby girl was so sad and scared when I first met her. She had bit marks on her, and I learned her guardians didn't protect her from their resident dogs who attacked her several times before she was dumped at the kill shelter. She was skinny and terrified. She broke my heart.... when I first attempted to pet her, she acted as though I was going to hit her .... so I just sat next to her for a long while and she offered me her paw and then enjoyed lots of belly rubs! I made it my mission to find her a rescue and fostered her until she was safe in Lulu's care.' Today, COCO IS A CUDDLEBUG! She is so sweet, a snuggle bunny who just wants to be the world's best lap pup. Coco is a smart girl, who is highly treat and praise motivated, and she has learned all her puppy lessons. For obvious reasons, Coco is afraid of other dogs and wants to be your one and only, the apple of your eye. She is a sweet sweet pup who deserves a loving family; in return, she will give you her total heart and soul. If that sounds like you, come meet her soon.
