About Maya

Currently I am fostering a stray mother cat (Maya Angelou) and her four kittens that she brought to my home after giving birth underneath the neighbor's shed. Maya is approximately one year and appears to have a little bit of calico in her coat. Her four kittens were born on 8.14.2019 and they will be ready for adoption by 10.14.2019. It just broke my heart that she was pregnant and malnourished so I fed her and took her in. Also, I didn't think she would do well at an animal shelter due to her condition. Please help and adopt if you can. I already have two cats that I rescued. And my male doesn't do well with Maya. She seems to get along with my female, however, is somewhat food aggressive. I guess that is to be expected being an outdoor cat who came to me pregnant, starved and malnourished. I am currently working with her on socialization and she is litter trained. Her adoptable kittens are as follows: three female- Ruth, Rahab and Esther ( two tiger striped and one all black). Also, one male- Daniel (orange and white striped.)
