About CoraBelle

Cora was rescued from a life on a 4ft chain and having to eat her food off the dirt. She is so happy and grateful for her new life and is learning to love her new freedom. Cora is always happy and LOVES people, despite being neglected by them in her past. She especially loves children. Cora has never pottied in the house, and has also never chewed anything that was not hers. She doesnt play with toys but does like chew bones and treats! And Cora LOVES TO GO FOR RIDES! She can be dog selective and prefers people over dogs, but she has done well with a few of her foster brothers and has been much more receptive to meeting new dogs lately as long as they are friendly and non aggressive. For the most part if they leave her alone she will leave them alone. Same with cats. She doesnt bother them if they dont bother her. Cora has such a sweet soul and a happy, loving disposition it's hard not to fall in love with her! She would do great as an only dog, or with one other dog that she gets along with. I think if there are too many dogs in her space she will feel threatened because of how she lived before, on a short chain, with other dogs that would taunt her although she could not get away. She had 2 litters that we know of but they were disposed of after birth. Cora would do great as a travelers dog since she loves to ride and loves her people. She also has been enjoying her big yard that she can roam freely in. Cora is crate trained now and actually likes her crate and feels safe there when unsure about her surroundings. She doesnt really need to be locked in though because she doesnt chew or potty inside. Cora really is an easy going girl who has so much love in her little body and deserves a family who will love her back the same. She has been let down by people time and again and yet loves people so much! Cora was heartworm positive in the beginning of the year but has been on treatment and should be clear when retested in Nov. Any further treatment shots will be covered.
