SA North of Salisbury - Rocky (M/2yrs) Available for Adoption! Rocky is not only so very sweet to look at, he is a very unique situation. He was previously a BRN Foster Fail (meaning the foster carer fell in love with him and adopted him) and now comes back to us from a special family who have unfortunately accepted an overseas relocation based on the ability of being able to take Rocky with them, however the distance to travel has proven too far according to his vet for this gorgeous boy so with his best interests in mind, we need to find him a home here. Don't let his cheeky face fool you, he's not only full of Boxer beans, he is also a sensitive, timid, loving and homely boy. He has been thriving of recent months, working on his trust and anxiety, and to everyone's credit, he is making great gains ��%A4� Over the past year he has been taught to chase a ball, run around with the kids and play wrestle with his favourite human. His main loves are searching for treats, being able to roam inside and outside with his family and he could sleep all day if he was allowed! Rocky comes with great experience on the lead, albeit a bit of 'Boxer Express' out of the driveway but settles in nicely once everyone gets moving in his walk. He is very social and likes to talk to all dogs, likes to wander and comes when called. His particular needs involve although liking all people, he can be picky with men and has a particular fear of men in high vis, in fact his is terrified of high vis. He also has a desire to eat where he can't be watched and needs encouragement and kindness to take food from your hand. Both of which are things very manageable in the right home.
