About Manu

Purebred Labrador Retriever; Manu will be a very large dog. He is currently in light basic training and will progress to obedience training when he is ready. His work goal is to be a Service Dog or Therapy Dog. Our rescue conducts home checks, if you are beyond our driving range - please do not inquire on Manu. He is greatly loved and will only go to a loving home or sanctioned animal rescue/sanctuary. We are located in Charleston, WV and will travel up to 50 miles one way for home check. If you live further than this and willing to compensate our travel expenses we may consider your application. (Travel expenses are be based on mileage). Manu knows that his kennel is his safe haven and readily goes in on his own or by command. He sits, he is learning 'hold' which is a stay but gearing him towards Service Dog work. He 'holds' for his leash, body inspection, luvs. He absolutely adores Caroline, Mobility Assist Service Dog and is picking up some cues from her on how to behave. He travels well loose in the K9 cushioned back seat of a mid size SUV. Manu needs his vaccinations and neutering, he needs a X Large kennel indoors and a fenced yard/adequate outside run area. He has his own collar, harness, leash, and food bowl. His adoption fee reflects rabies vaccination and neutering surgery to be performed before his departure. Complete vaccinations, well check and flea/worm preventatives are to be fulfilled by adopter and their vet.
