History- Emma was in a shelter but was showing too much aggression to be adopted out. She was so scared the only thing she could think of doing is growling and charging to scare anyone away who might want to hurt her. She has been here for a while meeting new people however she still needs some work with introductions but she is doing much better with most people. Temperament- Very happy, loving, and playful Energy Level- Very high energy! Dogs/Cats- She is wonderful with the other dogs here. She is very very high energy so a dog her size or bigger who loves to wrestle and play chase would be the best bet. She would probably torment an old dog. We can do a cat introduction if/when requested. Housetrained- Has not had a single accident. Crate trained as well. This beautiful little girl is too cute.. She is so sweet, happy, very playful, and loving.. She will make a wonderful addition to any loving family wanting a cutie to love and spoil. **Please be aware that due to her history we will only place her in a home who will take precautions when having strangers over to visit and are willing and able to work with her on socialization out in public. She has been meeting a lot of people here in the rescue but she can still be funky when people reach out to her too quickly or try to grab/touch her when she isn't ready. No small children. But she would do amazing with someone who has another active dog they need a playmate for, someone who likes to go walking, hiking, or jogging, older kids who need an energetic pup to stay busy with, or someone who might want to do agility or something like that-- she is very smart and very fast. Adoption fee $250 includes spay, age appropriate vaccinations (4 for puppies), deworming, microchip, rabies, collar and leash, training information, and all the support you need.
