History- Update 08/07/2019- Adopted and lived with his family for 2 years. Unfortunately they had to return him when he and the child in the home couldn't seem to co-exist. Rocket just couldn't handle the stress of a child falling on him or grabbing his hair. He is a very sensitive boy so should go into a home with older children and adults. First came into rescue 5/23/2017- He was a stray who ran out of time and the shelter was completely full. Trying to get their dogs out they contact rescues to see if anyone has room. We had room so he was transferred to us. Temperament- Very sweet, playful, and happy Energy Level- Mid level energy- loves to play with the other dogs. Dogs/Cats- Good with the other dogs and cats Housetrained- He is crate trained and he is completely house trained as well. This cute boy is so funny. He looks to be a wire haired Dachshund and just so full of himself. He is super cute and playful and very loving. He loves toys- there are some videos and pictures on our facebook page. This is one of those boys you could really just have fun with as he has no behavioral issues at all. He would make a wonderful addition to any family. Adoption fee $250 includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations (4 for puppies), deworming, microchip, rabies vacc, collar and tags, training information, and all the support you need.
