About Raffi

Raffi has an adoption in progress.... Meet Raffi, a beautiful neutered male Bengal who is approximately 1 year old. Raffi was recently seized during a raid at his last owner's home. Despite his challenging start, Raffi is people friendly on his terms. He allows pet from kids. He loves to wander the house and will test all your door knobs. He is very quick and can be a door darter if you aren't paying close attention. He sometimes plays honest fetch, and loves going for leash walks. Occasionally he will check to see if you have a hold of his leash, but so far he hasn't tried to back out of his harness. He is a slow eater and quite picky, prefers wet food. He is currently a little under weight, but passed his vet checkup, blood test, and urinalysis on 9-25-2019. He does good with the litter boxes in the catio and cat room, but may spray around adults, or possibly even in a house with no other cats. This could possibly go away if there are not adults around. Raffi is very dominant and will sometimes attack other adult cats but gets along with kittens that aren't a threat him; it is best if he is the only pet. Like many Bengals Raffi is high maintenance (possibly including financially) and would do best in a home with previous experience with cats, preferably Bengals. Due to his history, preference will be given to an adopter within 150 miles of Salt Lake City, UT, as well as those with previous experience with cats, including administering medications.
