Meet Frank. We know very little about Frank since he was picked up by Fort Bend Animal Shelter around January 2019. We adopted him and took him home. It took him a week but he warmed up to our other dog. Frank is hesitant and protective when he gets around other dogs. Cats, he could care less about even when our kitten attacks his tail. He is an angel around our 2 and 5 year old, letting the crawl all over him. He came to us with heart worms, which we are currently treating. After coming home with us, he decided to eat a few of the kids toys and as a result he underwent surgery to remove the blockage. Everything was going smoothly until our other dog passed away. Since losing his friend, all Frank does it want to sleep. He doesn't even want to go to outside anymore (he is potty trained.) He likes going to work but hates it when we have to lock him in his kennel, he is an escape artist from a wire kennel. He does not like being left alone or being kenneled. He loves to go for walks and is excellent to the leash. We are pretty sure that in his previous life, there was some abuse since he will sometimes pee when scared. With our work schedules being long, we are hoping that we can find him a home that is looking for a dog to love and give him what we cant. We would be glad to answer any questions regarding Frank.
