Please say hello to Sapphire, a shy and gentle little girl whose birthday is May 7, 2019. Sapphire counts her lucky stars because when she was about 3 weeks old, a gardener found Sapphire in the Great Neck yard where the gardener was working. Of course, HUG was called and came to Sapphire's rescue. Sapphire had a hard time in the garden and had developed a severe eye infection and was starving. HUG angels medicated and bottle fed round Sapphire the clock until she gained weight and her health improved. Although Sapphire is now very healthy and robust, the eye infection caused Sapphire to lose her eye. Sapphire requires no treatment and loves to play, folic, purr, chase her toys and play with her best buddy, Emerald. Sapphire's sweet disposition will make her a wonderful addition to you family and if you already have a furbaby, the kitties will become best friends. Sapphire only has one eye, but she will see true love when she meets you and you take her home. Sapphire needs patient parents as she is a little shy but once she gets to know you, she will be your devoted companion. She also loves her buddy Emerald. If you have love to give and want to share your heart and home with a very special little kitty or two, please complete our online application at http://humaneurbangroup.org/adoption-application and HUG will respond to you in two shakes of a cat's paw.
