About Duke

Duke is a 1 year old Lab mix. Duke was brought to Brighter Days when he wound up in a shelter at only a couple weeks old. Duke was adopted from Brighter Days Dog Rescue and they are now wanting to find a new home for him :( Poor Duke has been shuffled around by humans his whole life, so we want to make sure his next home is his TRUE forever home, no matter what. Duke is getting returned through no fault of his own. There is no reason other than the family doesn't have time for a dog anymore and a dog doesn't fit into their lives anymore :( Duke is a born lover. He will greet you morning noon and night with kisses and affection. He is great with kids and adults and is quick to roll on his back for a belly rub. He loves trips to the dog park where he can run and stretch his legs. He is house trained, can sit, stay, come and loves to play fetch. He will do best with someone who can give him lots of attention and a place where he can run. He is a big puppy and needs someone who has another dog for him to play with or wants an adventure/play buddy. He will be your best friend for life and he so deserves that feeling of unconditional love.
