About Max

Max was found on the street in December, when everything was frozen. He was malnourished, dehydrated. He only had 2 teeth and both were absessed. He was given antibiotics and had his teeth removed. Vet guessed his age to be about 12yrs. He has something wrong with his back, so he walks funny. He doesn't seem to have a fully working voice box, he doesn't like to be left alone. He is not in any pain. Took some time to get him more or less house-trained, he will still have accidents. I work 12hr nights, leaving him alone, penned in the kitchen. He is on a very soft food diet, fresh Pet, mixed with water. He has a hard time eating with no teeth. He needs to be in a home with someone available all the time. He is a good traveler. Loves to go out for daily drives, errands. Loves everyone he meets, people and dogs. Not sure about kids. He tolerates my cat. Needs a retired adult, who can spend the day with him. He loves to go for walks. Must use a harness because of unknown back issue.
