About Mia

Mia is a tiny 7 pound, 4 year old Dachshund/Chihuahua mix looking for a loving home. A tiny girl she she loves to snuggle. Mia loves to play ball and loves all kinds of toys. She is good with most dogs. Mia should not be in a home with children under the age of 13 years and she has not been tested with children. Mia will growl, but not bite, when she meets new people. Mia is a loyal girl who wants to snuggle on her humans lap. She has never met a sun beam she didn't call her friend! Mia loves to explore outside and would really love a fenced where she could enjoy sniffs. Mia is crate trained and house trained. Like all dachshunds she will need to be confident in her environment to have good potty habits. All rescue dogs go thru a period of adjustment so understanding and patience is important. Mia likes to sleep in her crate at night in her foster home in Mississippi, but is happy to be with her people as much as possible. This sweet little girl is looking for love.
