About Kane

Lab mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Meet Kane! He is estimated to be a 1year old lab/ wire terrier mix. He weighs approximately 30 pounds. While he can be a bit cautious at first, once he realizes you are a safe person, he will reveal his sweet and loving side. Kane loves hopping up on the sofa with you and receiving belly rubs. He love toys and will run after them. He is housebroken, can be trusted to be let out of the crate while you are gone, and is crate trained. Kane is good with other dogs, and would benefit with another dog in the home. His current foster home does not have cats, but it is believed that he would be fine with cats. We would not recommend small kids in the home currently due to needing a calm home that he can build his confidence. I'm the week he has been in foster care, Kane has come out of his shell and takes treats out of your hand. He knows how to sit, and is currently working on learning other basic commands. Kane walks well on a leash. He does really well on car rides. Kane is an incredibly intelligent boy and loyal. Kane is up to date on shots, neutered, heartworm negative, and being fostered in New Freedom. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all volunteer organization and we are always looking for more help. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at www.pack9rescue.org or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption.
