About Gretchen

Gretchen is an 8 year old Cocker Spaniel that weighs 25 pounds. She was brought to the shelter by her owner because they could no longer care for her due to financial hardships. The shelter informed us that people kept passing Gretchen over because they were more interested in white dogs and that she did not stand out enough for them to promote her. It was because of that Gretchen was set to be euthanized until a shelter volunteer alerted us. Gretchen would be great family dog as she loves to be around people and has a gentle and sweet personality and demeanor. Gretchen enjoys taking naps and going out for long walks. She is also great with other dogs. She is calm and house trained and should be fine with cats but does not live with any cats at this time.
