About Rusty - PENDING

Adoption Fee: $375
Australian Cattle Dog / Beagle
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Male

When he is not busy exploring (or eating), Rusty can be found snuggling with his teddy bear. This cuddly pup has handsome, symmetrical markings on his face and a unique pattern of spots on the rest of his body. He loves to play with the other dogs in his foster home, is curious - but respectful of the cat, and adores everyone he meets. His foster mom shared: Rusty is smart, loving and playful. He is getting the hang of being in the crate at night and sleeping well. He is ignoring our cat. They only see each other from a distance though. We do not provide DNA testing which is the only way to know with certainty which breeds are in his genetic background. Our best guess is Australian Shepherd, Cattle Dog, Blue Heeler, and Hound mix. We expect the pups to reach 35-45 lbs as adults, but we can not guarantee size at maturity. Their mom has the appearance of a black Lab mix and weighs about 40 lbs. Highlights about Rusty : - Well socialized - Friendly, Affectionate - Housebroken - Crate trained - Eager to learn - Enjoys playing with dogs - Ignoring the cat in his foster home - Playful, Curious, Snuggly - Up-to-date on vaccines - Has not been neutered yet * * Based on current veterinary recommendations, he has not been neutered due to his young age. We do require proof of this procedure at a later date as part of the terms of our Adoption Agreement. Please discuss the correct time for this to be done with your veterinarian. We can provide a $75 rebate once the procedure is completed. Low cost clinics are listed here. Our adoption fee is $375 which includes age appropriate vaccines (such as Distemper, Bordetella, Parvo, Rabies), worming, micro-chipping, and health exam. Discount vouchers for training, grooming and similar dog related products and services are provided.
