About Rocky

Rocky was adopted as a puppy from our rescue (born February 6, 2016), and we have him back because the family situation changed, and they could not take him with them. It was no fault of Rocky's. Yes, we have Rocky listed as a Jack Russell Terrier/Shepherd mix. We know for a fact that his mom Lily is a JRT weighing under 20 pounds. As far as dad goes...your guess is as good as ours but by the looks, we believe dad was a Shepherd mix. Rocky is house trained and although he is crated at times, he is not a fan of the crate. He likes to be with his humans and therefore, does not like to be alone for a long time. He would do great in a family where someone is home often or works from home. He loves all people but takes a while to warm up to other dogs. He does not care for high energy dogs that are in his face. Rocky loves playing tug-o-war, chasing balls and simply hanging out with his people.
