About Kona

Kona is a young Samoyed/Husky mix who loves to be with people. Very social boy. He loves to snuggle and he is great with people!!! Kona is 55lbs and thinks of himself as a tiny lab dog. So if you let him he will sleep on your lab. He is good on the leash, knows basic commands, loves to drive in the car and be just by your side when you watch your favorite movie. I have small dogs which is why I think it is best for him to be the only pet in an adult household. He has a very friendly and loving temperament but I am barely home and this boy needs more attention than I can give him. I have taken him to work with me and he truly has a calm disposition but he needs exercise and play time. Samoyed are herding dogs which is why I suggest for him to be the only pet in the household with no children. He is good with my bunch but acts like a rowdy 5 year old toddler which is not surprising considering he is only one years old. He follows me everywhere and just sits by my feet so expect a dog that is easily attached to his human. I got him from a kill shelter with the objection to find him a suitable home. I previously worked in rescue and any interested party would have to fill out an application form with me and consent to a home visit.
