About Harry

Great Pyrenees / Australian Shepherd
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

If perfection has a name, it's Harry. This giant stuffed animal in the form of a 90# Great Pyrenees mix may be the sweetest boy you will ever meet. At 6-8yrs old Harry is past the 'getting into trouble' puppy phase and he's even past the young adult 'entertain me' phase. He is in the 'relax and enjoy life' phase of life. Harry is happiest spending his days wandering around the yard, laying in the wood shop while his foster mom works, laying next to the desk in his foster dad's office or sitting at the park watching his foster kids play. Harry is very friendly and will always greet guests at the door. He is indifferent twords cats (but loves to chase the occasional squirrel in the yard). He has been a wonderfully gentle dog brother to his foster kids, ages 2, 4, & 8. Harry is fully potty trained and does not require a crate. He will peacefully sleep on the floor next to your bed and will sleep in as late you do. His only request of you is that he be the only dog in your life. Harry is incredibly loyal and prefers being with his people rather than separated. He would be a fantastic office or shop dog. If you are looking for a friend to hang out with, a low maintenance companion for an aging family member, a friendly greeter for your business or a new family member that won't mind if the kids forget to walk him sometimes then set up a meeting with Harry today! Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping. We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Please email [email protected] for an application or additional details. Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed. Please consider becoming a foster home while you search for your new best friend. We need foster homes - pounds are overflowing with puppies and adult dogs that are at-risk and need help. We can only rescue as many as we have foster home commitments. Fostering is a rewarding experience for your family.
