About Stretch

Meet Stretch! This sweetheart of a dog has been loved well! His forever home has had some losses. His dad has passed and his sweet momma is currently on hospice. It is time to find Stretch a new loving home to put his owner at peace before she passes. Stretch has been her beloved and faithful friend for years. His temperament - he can be a bit noisy when I first come into his home, because he is happy to see me. But he calms down quickly and goes about his business. Compatibility with other animals - when Stretch was rescued, his parents fell in love with his brother too and took both of them home. His mate has since passed and he has not really been around other animals, other than at the groomer, whom he is fine with, so I cannot really speak on how he would do with other dogs. I have spoken to his veterinarian who travels to his home. He recently had his annual shots and she believes he is around 13 years old. His momma had his pearly white teeth cleaned about two years go, and his gums look really good in spite of all the treats this guy has been given! Stretch needs an owner who has the time to walk him. He is overweight due to all the treats his sweet momma gives him. I believe he would be more active if he could lose some weight.
