About Perdita

Precious Perdita is a pretty 3-4 year old Chihuahua Dachshund mix, who weighs about 15 pounds. She came into rescue pregnant and had six beautiful puppies who have all been adopted. It's her turn now! Perdita is a very friendly and loving girl. She just wants tons of affection and snuggles. She loves attention from her people. Perdita is also very well behaved in the house. She is housebroken and will let her foster mom know when she needs to go outside to potty and then she comes back to the door and lets her know it's time to come in. She does not do well on a leash and a fenced yard is required to give her a safe place to explore outside. She has been around other dogs in her foster home and is great with them, although it does take her a few days to adjust to being with new dogs and people. If you give her time she will play with other dogs and quickly attach to her person. She doesn't mind cats and won't interact with them, she is probably more afraid of them than anything. Perdita is a very sweet and lovable girl who loves to sit in your lap. She will look at you with those big brown eyes and you can't help but melt! She has not been around children, but her foster mom thinks she will be fine. She is up to date on shots, spayed, heartworm negative, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. Perdita has a fantastic personality and somebody will be very lucky to have her as part of their family!
