About Maggie

Meet little miss Maggie! She is a 10 year old Shih Tzu who was found as a stray. Maggie weighs 12 pounds and is partially blind and hard of hearing. It breaks our hearts thinking of her wandering alone and scared like that! Even though she is in a safe place now, she is still a little scared. She is good with other dogs, but has not been cat or kid tested. We would not recommend a home with young kids. She is very mild mannered and every once in awhile feels comfortable enough to sit in her foster's lap. We think once she's settled into a home of her own and becomes familiar with her surroundings, she will be fine. Maggie is not potty trained but we are working on it. She is leash and harness trained and is not food aggressive. Maggie is up to date on shots, spayed, heartworm negative, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. She needs a home where she will never be lost again.
