About Jinx

Little Jinx is a 4 1/2 pound, 2-3 year old adorable Chihuahua mix. Jinx was a very scared fella when he came to the rescue from a rough situation. When his foster parents first got him, he hid behind the couch for a couple of days. After about 4 days he wanted to be in his foster family's laps and has since become the sweetest little guy in the house! He follows his foster family everywhere, they can't go anywhere without him next to them. Jinx loves to sleep in bed and cuddle next to you. He is such a snuggle bunny! He loves to play with other playful dogs once he has warmed up. He can use a puppy pad but his foster mom has been working on his housebreaking and he is doing really well. He is not good with a leash and harness so he just wears a collar right now. At his foster home he either has the run of the house or he's in a gated area if needed. He would not do well in a crate, he will cry and feel like he's trapped. A fenced in yard would be great for him as he loves to run around. We don't recommend an apartment as he will bark at unknown sounds. We do take him to the adoption events but the noise and bustle tend to scare him a bit. He would not do well with smaller children as their activity level would scare him. Jinx is up to date on shots, neutered, heartworm negative and microchipped with a lifetime registration. Jinx would love to be with a new family that would be able to spend lots of time with him. He is small enough that he could be your pocket baby! Don't hesitate to put your application in to meet him!
