About Red

Sweet Red is wondering why he hasn't found his Fur-Ever home yet! He's ready for that special person to come meet him and take him home! Red is a 5 year old, 10 pound Chihuahua who came to us from the shelter after he was found as a stray with a bunch of other dogs. Red is a great little guy who gets along well with other small dogs. He likes to play and he to go outside and run around. A fenced yard would be nice for him but isn't necessary as he does not wander far from you when outside. Red is a little shy at first and it might take a day or two for him to warm up to you but, once he does, he will love getting in your lap for hugs and kisses. He loves his bed and blanket but would also love cuddling in the bed with you. He's working on his potty training and will use puppy pads but does need to be taken out on a regular basis to avoid accidents. He likes to walk on a leash. We wouldn't recommend a home with small children due to his size but we think he would be fine with older children. He is up to date on shots, heartworm negative, neutered and microchipped with a lifetime registration. Red is a wonderful little guy who is all ready to meet his new family!
