About Millie

Good-as-gold Millie is a 5-6 year old, 24 pound Jack Russell mix who was found a couple as a stray. She had been wandering around a neighborhood but no one claimed her so one of our previous adopters picked her up and brought her to us. She was covered in fleas and her nails were so long they were curling under. She is a little bigger than our usual dogs but we couldn't just leave her! We are glad we didn't because Millie is as sweet as she can be! She appears to be housebroken and she gets along well with other dogs. She has not been cat or kid tested. She prefers to sleep by herself, but will cuddle for a little while till she's ready to sleep. She is friendly and affectionate and greets you at the door with a wagging tail. She does not bark and is a very quiet girl. She is terrified of thunder and that may be partly due to the fact that she was outside on her own for at least a little while. She is up to date on shots, heartworm negative, spayed, and microchipped with a lifetime registration.
