Hi, my name is GARY - ID#A4287174. I am a male, black and white Labrador Retriever. The shelter staff think I am about 1 year old, and I have been at the shelter since Jul 12, 2019. Gary is shy and anxious at the shelter. He likes people, and will lean in for neck scratches. He walks good on a leash, and loves getting treats. When walking, he will stop when anyone approaches; cautious and shy. He also likes getting belly rubs. Gary has been at the shelter over 2 months and may begin to show signs of kennel deterioration. This happens to all social animals eventually when they have been incarcerated for long periods of time. They need social interaction whether with other dogs or people.
