About Poncho

My name is Poncho and I am a male 10 year old Chihuahua. I was picked up as a stray and placed in a high kill shelter. At the shelter, I was really scared and sad with no chance of someone picking me. Thankfully, I was rescued. I am in foster-care where I receive lots of love and encouragement to never give up hope to find my forever home. I am still a little bit scared with new people and situations. My foster family thinks I would do best in a home with no small children. A home with another doggie or two (three or four) would be ideal because I really like other dogs and I like to play. I am potty trained and know how to use the doggie door. At night time, I happily sleep in my doggie bed in my foster-parents room. At only 10 lbs., I am an excellent watch dog and very loyal. I am current on my vaccinations and am neutered. I sure hope you are the special someone who will pick me. Love, Poncho.
