About Mittens

Mittens is a very sweet shy girl at first. She is a special dog that seems to love and bond with special autistic children. We where also informed she can detect oncoming seizureS in humans and are in the process of verifying that with a trainer that is involved with medical alert dogs. This is something she just does naturally. We believe she would fit well into any family with or without children but we know she does have this unique ability to comfort special children. She has started treatment for heartworm infection which is curable and not contagious at this stage. The rescue pays for all costs associated with heartworm treatment and getting Lyme vaccine and booster. She is already vaccinated for other core vaccines including rabies. Please consider this sweet girl!
