About Ileesa (east)

ILEESA - ID#A4253442 Hi, my name is ILEESA. I am a spayed female, brindle and white Labrador Retriever and Vizsla, and I weigh about 68 lbs. The shelter staff think I am about 6 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Jul 27, 2019. Ileesa is so sweet. She went on an overnight foster and they said she is crate trained and loves people and likes dogs. She just didn't like their 2 year old dog in her face. Meet Ileesa! Here's what one of our volunteers had to say about Ileesa during a recent day out: 'My heart is melting and breaking at the same time. Ileesa is seriously the perfect dog and you definitely don't want to miss out on her. She is always so happy and her tail is always wagging. She never barks or jumps up. She's just a sweet dog that is so loyal, wants to snuggle, and be loved. We took her as an overnight foster just to test it out since it was our first time. She was so happy in her kennel and then when we went to put her in the car she was a little unsure of why we were taking her. It didn't take long for her to become attached to us and she loves riding in the car now!!! On our way back home we stopped at Petsmart and she was so excited to see people and pick out a toy. We went to Uncle Bear's Grill & Tap in Phoenix later in the evening and she was so good. She didn't beg or whine when we had food. She was just so happy to be there. Bonus: it was dog's eat free night so she got a nice little treat and was so gentle taking it from my hand. We would have adopted Ileesa if she would have liked our pup a little more. Her notes mentioned she was good with dogs and we saw that she didn't seem phased by them at the shelter, but we think she might have just not wanted to share us at home? They walked fine next to each other, and she laid on my feet and slept while our dog was playing fetch in the yard. Outside of that small aspect she is the perfect dog.
