About RANGER & RUFUS

Here we are RUFUS & RANGER, two SUPER sweet and friendly brothers looking for an extra special family who will adopt us together. You see we are not only brothers, we're best friends fur-ever. We've been together all our lives and it would hurt so much to have to say goodbye. We are 5.5 years old, weigh between 78 and 86lb and are an adorable medley of a English Sheepdog and Standard poodle, hence sheepadoodle. Casualties of a divorce, we recently lost the only family and home we've ever known. We were raised to be good boys, and we are housebroken and have good house manners. We are smart and know lots of commands including sit, stay, down, back, release and drop it, come, and outside. Our Mom describes us as gentle giants, sweet, happy, affectionate and sometimes very silly. We are good with older kids and other friendly dogs but prefer to be the only dogs in the family. We lived with a cat when we were really young and loved chasing her but we don't think she liked that game. We still have some puppy in us and like daily walks, playtime in the yard and long car rides. We don't play with toys but love kongs stuffed with treats. We would do best in a home with a large fenced in yard where we can romp and play. We have lived with other friendly dogs harmoniously. Given our size and our occasional puppy-like exuberance, we do best in a home with older children who know to get out of our way if we are being playful. Likewise, a resident dog should be about medium to large and not bossy at all. So why adopt us together, why two pups? You'll enjoy twice the snuggles, kisses, and cuddles; you'll never feel lonely with us around. You'll have two pups on guard duty when you aren't home. You won't have to worry about us getting lonely or anxious when you aren't home because we will keep each other company. And you'll have twice as many funny doggie stories to tell family and friends. There are so many reasons to adopt us both but the best reason is that we will change your life from boring to beautiful as we shower our wonderful-ness on you. So what do you think? The adoption fee is $425 for each pup. Please note that training is highly recommended for all dogs. As with all rescue animals, breed determination cannot be validated without genetic testing.
