About Birdie

Adoption Pending Meet Birdie ! Birdie is a 2 year Chihuahua mix who gets along with other dogs well. Birdie is about 9 lbs and has gained some healthy weight. She is shy at first but loves to sit on laps and take frequent naps. Birdie will push your hand so you pet her and keep the attention on her. She does great with dogs her own size. Birdie learned to walk nicely on a leash this summer. She now goes for a daily short walk with us and enjoys it ! We would like her to continue getting some daily walks. Birdie loves to get some sun and be outside. Birdie is ready for a home now. She has not been tested with large breed dogs, cats or kids yet. We are looking for a home that has at least 1 other small dog so she isn't lonely- she is used to being part of a pack of 10 smalls. If you do not have another dog in your home, please do not apply.
