About Kaya

Kaya is 6 1/2 months old. She has the most amazing personality and temperament!!She is very loving and just wants to be with the pack- humans or other pets - it doesn't matter! We adopted her from a local shelter and through getting her spayed at our vet - learned her back story b/c the vet we go to also works with the shelter and one of the workers there actually adopted her brother when the litter first came in. Kaya LOVES EVERYTHING & EVERYONE! She leaves our cat alone for the most part however every day she asks if the cat wants to play and every day our cat says no. We have 3 other dogs ranging from 5 lbs - 55 lbs, 4 years - 9 years and Kaya gets along with all of them. She is young and does want to play a lot with the other dogs but our Heeler puts her in her place and tells her to calm down and she does. She is in a kennel when we are gone during the day and at night, however she would rather be a cuddle buddy at night. Kaya hasn't figured out the joy of riding in a car or truck yet. So far she just looks worried when we take her anywhere. She is super silly grunts and snores a lot! She hasn't had an accident in the house since July. Kaya is gentle, sensitive and sweet and will not go to a home without proper vetting.
