I saw this cat a week ago. She is NOT safe. She stays close to a trailer where there are children who carry her and have given her food a couple of times, but the parents do not claim ownership. She meows loudly and rubs against your legs to ask for food. She is very malnourished and has a slight limp in her skeletal back legs - probably from being kicked and chased away from other trailers. I have other fosters and can not take her in at the moment. It seems the only place taking in cats is the Cabarrus Shelter but they euthanize all sick cats. Someone give this sweet kitty a second chance, she will love you forever. As soon as you tell me you'd like to adopt her I will look for her and we can then arrange to meet. Although I am trying to keep a close watch, it is not garanteed that nothing will happen to her before that time (busy roads, rat poison etc.) so please tell me as soon as you can.She is free to a good home with excellent references.
