Hi, my name is MACK - ID#A4296068. I am a neutered male, black and white Boxer and American Pit Bull Terrier. The shelter staff think I am about 6 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Aug 04, 2019. Notes from a volunteer: I walked by Mack's liferoom Saturday and Sunday and noticed he just slept all day. Mack's notes said he came in with an upper respiratory infection in August and had suffered possible heat exhaustion- which is why he remains inside. Myself and another volunteer were able to get him to lift his head and eat some chicken which he devoured. I then leashed him and took him for a little walk inside. He is a wonderful walking companion. He was next to me the entire time! His eyes seemed to brighten when giving him pets and attention. Mack would probably be happiest in a low key home. He is mellow but can be a little nervous. He was nervous and stoic during his doggy evaluation, so he might do best as an only dog at this time. Mack has been at the shelter over a month, so that puts him in danger of being euthanized. Please consider this sweet and chill little guy for your next furry family member.
