Mandy is a Landseer Newfoundland, springer spaniel mix, who was picked up while freely roaming, probably looking for a family that would appreciate all the fine qualities this breed has to offer. Mandy is described as extremely affectionate, gentle, sweet, and loving by the boarding staff. For this reason she would make an excellent family pet with older children or with an active single. This type of dog literally craves human attention and may develop problem behaviors if left alone too long during the day. Also, a house with a yard is recommended for this breed, and experience is a must, because we don't want her to ever go through the experience of being homeless again. She is currently in Southern Idaho, but can be transported to anywhere in the PNW by our amazing group of transport volunteers. Fostering is free, adoption donation is $350 (tax deductible). If you are interested in providing this magnificent girl with a home, either as a foster/adopter, please send an email to [email protected]. Be sure and put 'Mandy' in the subject line.
