About Missy

Missy came to the rescue from a humane case. She had a broken leg which MBR had repaired and a dislocated hip on the other side that our vet is closely monitoring and she may not need any further surgery. Missy is currently still on crate rest while her repaired leg heals. She can't play or run around yet but is very content sitting on a lap, sniffing the fresh air, and soaking up the sun! And she has no problem resting in her crate as well. Missy is very loving and gets along with other dogs yet would rather be with her humans. She is house trained for the most part but has had a couple little accidents because of not being able to walk normally yet. Once she is healed, we believe she will be fine. It is extremely rewarding to open your heart and home to a senior dog giving them a loving environment to live out the rest of their years.
