About Fawn & Bailey

We have a special pair of sweeties we'd like to see stay together. Little Fawn and Bailey have grown so attached and they offer each other support. They have become our shelter sweethearts. The adoption fee for the pair will be $350. Please help us make this happen by sharing with all your pet loving friends and family! Bailey is a sweet Beagle Boy surrendered to a local vet for euthanasia because he had a non-repairable broken leg and the owners could not provide the surgery to remove it. Well, here is Bailey with a new lease on life and doing quite well only 5 days post surgery! Now A very happy and sweet boy anxiously anticipating a fur-ever home to share his love and gratitude with a special family. He's approx. 14 weeks old, weighs approx. 10 pounds, is up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, de-wormed and neutered. Fawn had a FEMORAL HEAD OSTEOTOMY (FHO) surgery on Tuesday 8/27. Her surgery was a complete success. She has been lounging around RCHS comfortably with her new found friend Bailey. Fawn was originally found limping, malnourished and flea infested in Pembroke. She was taken in by RCHS and examined by our vet and unfortunately she had apparently been hit by a car and had a broken right hip. This sweetheart is only about 1 year old, a Feist and maybe Chihuahua mix, about 11 pounds and up to date on all age appropriate vaccines. RCHS was able to provide the added care for Bailey and Fawn thanks to the overwhelming support provided by so many who wanted to also help Barkley, who is also doing awesome in his new home. All animals at RCHS are up to date on vaccinations, tested for Felv/Fiv, heart worm and treated if positive, de-wormed and spayed or neutered if over the age of 6 months. If they are younger than 6 months, the adopter receives a voucher that is good at any vet and covers a portion of the procedure.
