Hi, my name is AXEL - ID#A3125975. I am a neutered male, tan and white American Pit Bull Terrier mix, and I weigh about 55 lbs. The shelter staff think I am about 8 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Jul 26, 2019. Notes from a volunteer who recently spent time with Axel: 'Axel's exit from his kennel and return were calm and polite. Axel was happy, polite and affectionate from the moment we left the building. He LOVES sitting in your lap, sitting with you and being social. He takes his treats politely, has wonderful leash manners and is just an all around wonderful boy. He is pure love. This sweet boy has been at the shelter a long time, and will soon be at risk for euthanasia. Please consider Axel for your next furry family member.
