Hey there! This is Otso. Originally rescued from Nashville, his family decided that after 7 years they no longer wanted him. He is looking for a low key family to retire with. We named him Otso because he's a big cuddly teddy bear and Otso means bear in Finnish. He is house trained and doesn't chew or get into things when he's left. He has some general fear of new people but overcomes that quickly. He gets along well with other dogs but tends to be on the dominant side with them. He stands wonderfully and is very cooperative for grooming and maintenance, knows all his basic commands and is just all around a great old boy. He is a very personable guy. He does well on a leash but will need a strong handler because he loves to chase small prey animals and gets a little over excited. He likes to go for walks but otherwise is a couch potato and basically just wants to chill with you. The original shelter cleared him for cats, kids and seniors but I would be hesitant.
